Our motel is situated on the Queensland / New South Wales Border in the Granite Belt, only a 2 hour drive from Toowoomba and a stones throw to many wineries on a pleasent drive toward Stanthorpe.

Texas offers an abundance of activities and just an excuse to have a relaxing quiet weekend in the country in a comfortable motel room with all the modern conveniences.  Feature include:
  • Satellite television Austar (22 channels).
  • Reverse cycle air conditioning.
  • Fullly licensed steakhouse that is airconditioned in summer and a cosy wood fire in winter.
  • We also offer conference facilities to groups and catering to suit.
Local activities are abundant but a special mention for;
  • The Texas Country Music Roundup which is held on the last weekend in September and is becoming one of the country music festivals to go to, and
  • The Texas Races are held annually and is supported as one of the biggest country race days in Queensland.
  • The area offers a number of dams for rereational fishing and boating.
We welcome bus tours for morning and afternoon Teas and light lunches.
