Larger rooms than normal. Very comfortable beds, new mattresses, we had a good sleep. Terrible lighting, but that's normal for motels. Very little outside noise. Overall better than fair value.

Very clean and comfortable motel situated in a country area. Very quiet and close to everything. Very friendly staff. We had a twin share room. Very comfortable beds. Nicely appointed room. Plenty of parking. We'd definitely recommend this motel.

The bed was lovely and soft, like sleeping in a cloud after a long day driving. Room dated but very clean. Microwave, kettle and fridge (with some bottles of water which was a lovely touch) check in was quick and simple. Thanks.

Typical country accommodation. Simple but everything you need. In the main street but quiet. Easy to walk around town and conveniently across the road from the pub.

The family room had more than enough spaces for the two of us, was clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed and minimal noise from passing traffic. It is within walking distance of the grocery store, the cafes and the hotel and a short drive to the Memorial Club however you’d need to check with motel reception for opening hours of these businesses.

The office was closed when we arrived but Jenny arrived quickly once we rang the number on the door. Soon after, the heavens opened (again) so spent quite a long while in our room. We were blessed with a resident frog serenading us. We had the corner room which is a family room so lots of space (and beds). All fairly basic but fine. The wifi wasn't working. The restaurant advertised on the roof doesn't exist. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The hot water was very hot and came quickly.

Absolutely amazing people who run this Motel, I arrived at 6pm Christmas night and could not drive any further. Contacting them was not a problem, soooo accommodating getting me a room.

They also said they would drive around for me just to find me a can of coke somewhere as everything was closed, then the management arrive with a xmas dinner as I was on my own.

Did not think people like this were around anymore... Great clean rooms and service like no better.

What a lovely little motel with delightful staff. Our room was spacious, clean , and the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. We were just across from the hotel so very convenient for meals. The Motel is handy to shops and cafes.

Travelled on Business Great Motel - Great place to stay rooms were very comfortable, unfortunately due to COVID19 no meals or charge back to motel no one open on Sunday. I would stay again if in the area, Met the owner of motel in Butcher Shop very friendly.

This is a lovely country motel. It’s friendly and clean, and it’s the little touches in the rooms like the toiletries, new blinds and the lamps, that show the love and effort the owners and their team put into their business. We booked a number of rooms for a family event and the owners were very helpful.

Overnight stay traveling north, the rooms are clean and comfortable and a good size, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Having a restaurant is a huge plus and the food is great and has a good selection. We were made to feel very welcome.

First--the owners are SUPER nice. Second--the restaurant in the front of this hotel is A-MAZING. I am picky and was rather skeptical, but it was really good! I had the garlic shrimp with rice and my partner had the chicken and prawns in sweet chili cream sauce. We both were surprised at the quality and how good the food was. The room-- the bed linens were good and everything was clean. The decor isn't flash, the rooms are a little dated--but who cares if it's clean. I would stay there again.

My only complaint was some idiots in the room next to us shouting and fighting at midnight--but that's not the owner's fault. The shouting didn't last long so, I'm assuming someone addressed it quickly.

We booked this motel as we stayed a couple of years ago. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The highlight was the excellent T bone steak I had in the restaurant. It was melt in your mouth and delicious! ||I would go out of my way to stay again just for the steak!

After a hard day of riding we found this oasis in Texas. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. No problems at all bed was very comfortable and I would stay there again. Great little town and a great pub opposite.

Our stay was for sorry business. We really liked the hot hot showers. The rooms are basic but clean. There was an air conditioner as well - a wall one, noisy but warm. The check in was easy as was check out. The hosts are lovely. The rooms are basic but hey, it’s a small town in the middle of nowhere.
